Transparency – People can see your comb-over
The following might be tough to read for some of you who are men. On balance, and with respect, it’s still best in my view to deliver the message.
Let me explain.
When I ask CEOs and other senior executives what behavior or attitude has paid off for them in their careers, many say ‘Transparency, Candour, Frankness’ and similar words.
With transparency in mind, I suggest that if you have a comb-over, that you consider changing your hair style so there is no comb-over.
This may mean shaving a part of your head that is thinning or shaving your entire head of hair.
I’m not suggesting this is an easy thing to do.
However, if you agree with the attitude of transparency – that has paid off for many top performers – using thinning or wispy hair to hide/cover over the skin of your head, is a display of non-transparency. It’s not consistent with a transparent presentation of yourself to the world.

Description: This consulting/coaching delivered by Michael Kelly, for four of your top performers, would be conducted in two group modules. As well in the process, each participant would have two, one on one coaching sessions with M. Kelly.

Participants would be repeatedly video recorded in the programme, and would take away video clips of their performances with M. Kelly’s deconstruction, for self-study and review.
