How to leave a voice mail message
When leaving a voice mail message, use an open – middle -close structure, make it brief and when you need to leave a phone number speak it at writing speed and repeat it twice. (to speak at writing speed air write each number as you speak it). For Australian mobile numbers always segment your number in 4-3-3 chunks (even if your number has a series of the same digits).
Here’s an example of a message: ‘ John, it’s Michael Kelly from Kelly Speech Communication . . .I’m following up on the inquiry you had. . .my phone number is, (0418) (215) (049), that number again is, (0418) (215) (049). Thank you.
