Foundations of Leadership Communication

Core communication skills for emerging leaders.

Most emerging leaders have never been taught or exposed to the fundamentals of how to confidently present themselves and communicate clear, concise messages.

This focus area gives these leaders the fundamentals to build thriving careers.

Skills learnt:

  • How to master first impressions
  • The DBAE (Don’t Be Anywhere Else) technique for focused listening
  • How to structure spoken messages
  • How to move and conduct your body, and gesture with confidence
  • How to project certainty and energy through speaking cadence and vocal tone

Methodology:

Live coaching and feedback on participants performance in mock scenarios of daily work.

Includes:

  • one-one-one communication
  • meeting and group interactions
  • handling challenging situations

Format:

  • Up to 15 participants per cohort
  • in-person or virtual 
  • Three, two hour modules (Total: 6 hours over a set period)

Modules are delivered bi-weekly to allow for real-world application between sessions.
